I am
certain it was the purple Iris I drew in Kindergarten that peaked my
interest in art Years later after studying art and beyond working
as a graphic artist, the image of the iris stayed with me when I finally
resumed painting.
Color and
light are the major elements of my paintings, and though the subject
matter is recognizable I leave the meaning to the viewer and hope each
sees different things. My purpose in painting is to encourage past
present, and future visions.
